Conservation education is the cornerstone of sustainable environmental protection. In Rwanda, where biodiversity is both a national treasure and an economic driver through tourism, the role of literature in shaping environmental consciousness cannot be overstated.
At Nature Rights Plus Ltd, we believe that the most lasting change begins with a book in a child's hands. Our publications — ranging from wildlife stories to guides about national parks — are designed to plant seeds of environmental stewardship in young minds.
The Power of Storytelling
Stories have always been the most effective way to transmit values across generations. When a child reads about the journey of twenty-six orphaned elephants in Akagera National Park, they don't just learn facts — they develop empathy for wildlife and an understanding of why conservation matters.
Our books are written in Kinyarwanda, English, and French, ensuring that language is never a barrier to environmental education. This multilingual approach has allowed us to reach students across Rwanda and neighboring countries.
Impact in Numbers
Since our founding, we have published over 53 books focused on conservation, tourism, and environmental education. These books have been distributed to schools, libraries, and community centers across Rwanda, reaching thousands of young readers.
The feedback from teachers has been overwhelmingly positive. Many report that students who engage with our books show increased interest in nature and a stronger sense of responsibility toward their environment.
Looking Forward
We are committed to expanding our catalog and reaching even more communities. Our upcoming titles will explore topics like climate change, sustainable agriculture, and the role of youth in conservation. Through partnerships with schools, NGOs, and government institutions, we aim to make conservation education accessible to every child in Rwanda.
